Evergreen Youth Jazz
What is the Evergreen Youth Jazz?
We are a non-profit group dedicated to the musical enrichment of young people.
This program began in 1995 as a summer music group offered by Take a Bough Productions. It is geared toward young musicians as an introduction to jazz music. With hard work and lots of fun the group becomes a performing jazz band in a very short time. The band performs at local events throughout the summer with the grand finale at the Evergreen State Fair on Labor Day! Award Winning Theatre
The Evergreen Youth Jazz is directed by Dave Pallo. He is a graduate of Western Washington University with a teaching certificate in K-12 music. Dave teaches music at Gold Bar Elementary and teaches privately at Mill Music in Monroe.
The group is mentored by local adult musicians who offer guidance and professionalism to the up and coming instrumentalists of our community.
