In the Mood
December 4 - 13,
2009

Written and Directed by Terry Simon

Let us take you on a journey back in time to when Peace on Earth and Good will toward Men
was in danger of disappearing forever.  Just over five decades ago, the world was at war, and
yet people all over the planet managed somehow, to not only survive, but to hold on to that
spirit of caring and kindness that still make life worth fighting for.

Join us for a big band, USO-style show, featuring the music of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington,
Benny Goodman, and the other swing-kings in a nostalgic evening of merriment and song from
the early 1940's.  This annual event is re-written and updated every year with new songs, new
material, and some old friends.

Performances are at the Sky Valley Education Center in Monroe on Friday December 4 & 11 at 8:00 p.m.,
Saturday December 12 at 8:00 p.m., Sunday December 13 at 2:00 p.m.

One performance in
Lynnwood at Cedar Valley Grange on December 5 at 11:30 p.m. (Includes lunch)

One performance in
Carnation at Sno-Valley Senior Center on December 6 at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Lynnwood performance are being handled by the Lynnwood Senior Center.  Tickets for all
Monroe and Carnation performances can be obtained through Sky Performing Arts' regular ticket outlets.
